After 7 false starts, mainly due to Mameluke, the field got away and presented Matilda with a soft lead. She maintained her advantage until headed at the distance by Mameluke who was unable to sustain his effort and allowed Matilda to get back up by a length in 3 minutes 24 seconds. In a career consisting of 9 races, all run in Yorkshire, she won 4 races and was second in two others. | Over Round 104% | ||
